Fluxus was a movement that was started by a group of artists that were loosely organized and George Maciunas was the primary organizer or rather founder of the Fluxus movement. This movement is highly influenced by the Futurists and Dadaists. Like them, the Futurists did not believe in the authority of the museum over the artworks nor did they believe that to understand a piece of art a person has to be well educated. Like them, the Fluxus movement wanted the art work to be available for the masses as well and they wanted that people produce art all the time.
